JHSF as a market leader and how José Auriemo Neto has helped achieve this

The Brazilian real estate sector is continuing to experience rapid growth and leading the way is JHSF under the leadership of its current chairman José Auriemo Neto.

José Auriemo Neto attended an engineering course at Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado before going to study for a business administration course at FASE. He has been working with JHSF since he was 17 when he first developed the Park Bem then rose to CEO at 27 in 2006.

JHSF was established in 1972 as a construction company by two brothers and was to, later on, grow and get listed on BM & F Bovespa as its shares went public.

It has its two arms with the local JHSF group mainly concentrating on developments of residential and commercial developments within Brazil and its international arm which is responsible for identifying and making investments around the world. With a market value of about R $1.2 Billion, it has been able to undertake major projects that can only be termed as trend setters in Brazil.

The retail sector especially the high-end one has been known to be one of the most lucrative areas in business and to that end, the group ventured into it and in 2014 they inaugurated Catarina Fashion Outlet, the first outlet in Brazil focused on the luxury segment. Before this venture, JHSF in 2009 had already tested the waters by signing an exclusive partnership agreement with Pucci, Hermes, and Jimmy Choo and them opening the luxury brands first retail outlets in Brazil in the Cidade Jardim shopping complex.

The group also made inroads in the development of airports this was achieved through the development of the Sao Paulo Catarina Executive Airport, which will be the first private airport for executive aviation in the country.

Internationally the group has developments in Uruguay and the united states where they own a building in New York’s 5th avenue. Click here to know more about JHSF.
